![]() The Rangeley Lakes Region offers
48 miles of organized ATV trails open to the public for riding.
The season starts on June 1st, and closes on October 31st of each
year. The Camp-2 Trail Riders ATV Club, which was established 1994,
and Rev-It-Up Sport Shop maintain the two trail system, which is
clearly marked with red and white ATV signs, provided by the State
of Maine. Trail access is located at Rev-It-Up Sports Shop Camp-2 Trail: 13 miles one way. A warming hut is located at the 11 mile point and is named Camp 2 and offers a rest area and picnic table. Two miles beyond this rest area is a dirt road that can be traveled by a vehicle. At this point riders must turn around and head back. Wildlife is abundant along this trail which passes Moose & Deer Pond and Eddy Pond. Town Trail: 8 miles one way. This trail takes you into Rangeley and offers scenic mountain views along the way. Riders must turn right at the power station in town and park their vehicles, as ATVs are not allowed on Main Street. Restaurants and gift shops are all within a short walk!
